On April 20, end of outdoor masks

On April 20, the obligation to wear a mask indoors falls in Spain. The announcement has some nuances, such as exceptions to the rule. The face mask will be mandatory in health centers, nursing homes and public transport. Apart from these places, “responsible use” is recommended for the general population in practically all interior spaces where there is socialization, except in schools, as well as for vulnerable people.

This includes shops, cinemas, theaters, concert halls, museums, bars, restaurants or nightlife venues… and also private celebrations in family or friends environments. The minister has recalled that she should also use it for mild and asymptomatic positive cases, who since March 28 no longer have an obligation to keep isolation.
