Hillary Clinton shares a photo at a party to support Sanna Marin: “Keep dancing”

The former Secretary of State and former United States presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has wanted to show her support on social networks for the Finnish Prime Minister, Sanna Marin, after she had to undergo a drug test to prove that she did not consume drugs during a party Private with your friends.

Marin tested negative in the test that was done to quell the malicious rumors that emerged on social networks, after a video was leaked where she sings and dances at a private party. Despite the fact that the Social Democratic president denied at all times that she had used drugs at that party and had seen someone use them, some opposition politicians and even several media outlets demanded that she take a drug test.

“As Ann Richards said, ‘Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did. Only she did it backwards and in heels.’ Here I am in Cartagena while she was there for a meeting as Secretary of State. Keep dancing @marinsanna,” Clinton tweeted in a post with an attached photo of her dancing that racked up more than 150,000 likes in just a few hours.

Shortly after, Marin wanted to thank the former US president for her support by citing the tweet and thanking her.

Clinton has not been the only one. On social networks, dozens of women have uploaded videos of them dancing at different parties to support Finnish politics.

In fact, one of the women who has shared her dance on networks has been the president of the Government of La Rioja, Concha Andreu. “We govern and also dance. All my support @MarinSanna ”, wrote the president of the Riojan Government in an epigraph, which accompanies the video, in which she appears dancing at the Fiestas de San José, in Arnedo.

The leader of Ciudadanos, Inés Arrimadas, also criticized that Sanna was judged for “having fun in her free time”. “It is within her right to do so,” she said.

Since the Finnish video came to light, there have been several shows of support from public figures, both in Spain and in other parts of the world.
