The last chapter of House of the Dragon It already makes drastic changes in the cast of the series, since at least three characters change their skin due to the temporary advances of their stories.
These are three important women who will have another aspect from episode 6: Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Queen consort Alicent Hightower and the eldest of Velaryon’s children, Laena Velaryon.
Milly Alcock is being replaced by Emma D’Arcy as Rhaenyra.
Emily Carey is being replaced by Olivia Cooke in the role of Alicent Hightower.
Savannah Steyn is being replaced by Nanna Blondell in the role of Laena.
But there is also a man who updates his role and actor: Laenor Velaryon. Theo Nate is being replaced by John Macmillan.
Aside from this, there are likely to be other more minor character replacements, while most of the key players including King Viserys (Paddy Considine), Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith), Rhaenys Targaryen (Eve Best), Lord Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint) and Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans), will remain.
