The four outside slots were won by Greg Biffle (NY Racing), Noah Gragson (Beard Motorsports), Kaz Grala (The Money Team Racing) and Jacques Villeneuve (Team Hezeberg), the former Canadian Formula 1 driver.

The winner receives the Harley J. Earl Trophy and the winning car is displayed for a year at the Daytona 500 Experience, a museum adjacent to the speedway.
