IMF boosts economic growth forecast for Costa Rica to 4.7% for 2021

SAN JOSE — The International Monetary Fund raised its 2021 forecast for economic growth in Costa Rica to 4.7%, from a previous estimate of 2.6%, the lender said on Thursday, citing strong export growth as well as a “vigorous” COVID-19 vaccine campaign.
