Instagram begins launching scheduled posts | Digital Trends Spanish


Instagram is launching scheduled posts for professional accounts on its platform.

The new feature, which will go live globally in the coming weeks, allows creators and businesses to schedule an image, carousel or reel up to 75 days in advance, offering greater control over how content is shared on the service.

For schedule a post to Instagram, first create the post as usual. But before you hit the share button, access the scheduling tools by selecting “Advanced Settings.”

Next, toggle “Schedule this post” and then choose the time and date you want your post to publish to your followers’ feeds. And then navigate back to the Instagram post stream, select “Schedule.” You can also manage scheduled posts once they’re set up.

It’s unclear if non-pro accounts will get the scheduling feature anytime soon, though it’s possible to access it by changing your account. to a professionalwhich is free.

Truth be told, most people on Instagram who want to schedule posts have long been using third-party apps that offer the feature. Doing it through Facebook’s Creator Studio is another method. But weaving it right into the Instagram app should make it an even smoother experience.

Just to reiterate: Instagram’s new scheduled posts feature will be rolling out in the next few weeks, so it may take a while for it to show up in the app.

Commenting on the new feature, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri, he said in a video shared on their platform: “I call this a ‘finally’ feature, one of those things we really should have gotten to a long time ago.”

Mosseri also announced a new Instagram.com website which he said is “cleaner, faster, easier to use, and now designed to take advantage of big-screen monitors, which have increasingly become the norm.”
