Jack in the Box’s lawsuit against FTX US for alleged copyright and trademark infringement of the mascot has come to an end after the parties have reached a settlement.
The duo informed the California Southern District Court that they had settled the dispute through a motion to dismiss on January 20, although the exact details of the settlement have not been disclosed.
The popular fast-food chain initially filed the lawsuit in early November, alleging that the appearance and behavior of FTX US’s “Moon Man” mascot was a copy of the “Jack” mascot from Jack in the Box, whose copyright brand date back to 1995.
