Dreamworks Animation has been able to take advantage of sagas like trolls Y Shrek and did not want to be left behind with Kung Fu Pandawhich will have a fourth part that will be released in theaters on March 8, 2024.
The first film, which was released in 2008, received an Oscar nomination in the Animated Feature category. So far there are no established directors for Kung Fu Panda 4, but Universal Studios wants to make it clear that there is a delivery date for the project.
Part 4 will follow the further adventures of Po, again played by wide-eyed Jack Black in ancient China, whose love of kung fu is matched only by an insatiable appetite.
In recent years, the franchise has spread thanks to consumer products, video games, an Emmy-nominated television series (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness on Nickelodeon) and global theme park attractions.
There is also another spin-off TV series, Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight.
