Today we can celebrate its Citizen Council after the end of the controversy over criticism of the shipment of weapons

We can celebrate this Friday its State Citizen Council, the highest governing body of the party, to analyze the consequences of the war in Ukraine, a meeting that takes place once the controversy within the coalition over the shipment of weapons is settled.

The opening of this body, as usual, will be carried out by the general secretary of the purple formation and Minister of Social Rights, Ione Belarra, who will address a speech to the members of the Citizen Council.

During the last dates, the formation and the confederal space have emphasized the need to take measures to lower the price of electricity, given the rise experienced as a result of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

The meeting is held after the tension within the coalition over the shipment of weapons to Ukraine has been overcome, which in turn generated a division in the response within United We Can. After several days of tension, the government partners put an end to the internal escalation at the beginning of this week.

Feijóo opens this Friday in Valencia and Murcia his tour of all the communities to meet with members of the PP

The president of the Xunta, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, will open this Friday in Valencia and Murcia his tour of Spain to present his project to the members and that will take him for 10 days to tour the 17 autonomous communities.

For that campaign he has chosen the slogan ‘Prepared’ which, according to his team, vindicates the PP’s ability to assume leadership of the organization from minute one, but also the worth of a candidate and a party in order to assume responsibilities in the Moncloa Palace.

“We are prepared to build a team, a project and a government,” Feijóo assured this Wednesday in Madrid, after formalizing his candidacy before the Organizing Committee of the congress with the presentation of more than 55,000 endorsements.

The XX extraordinary congress of the PP will be held in Seville on April 1 and 2 and there the delegates will vote for the successor of Pablo Casado, who will have a farewell speech at that conclave. The president of the Organizing Committee, the Valencian Esteban González Pons, also hopes to have the former presidents José María Aznar and Mariano Rajoy.
