Lego constantly releases special collections of some of the most popular themes in the world. In this regard, Star Wars has a special place in the Danish toy maker’s expansive showcase.
Now, the company has surprised with a new model of the AT-AT, that iconic tank that became famous for attacking the rebel base in Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back.
The new design is part of the Lego Ultimate Collector Series line that offers ultra-realistic recreations of classic Star Wars ships and characters.
Although the firm has already launched other AT-ATs, this one stands out as one of the most impressive, especially due to its size since it measures 63 cm high with the legs extended.
In fact, according to Lego, its dimensions allow it to transport a whole troop of imperial soldiers inside (represented by little Lego figurines, of course).
It is a version aimed at a fanatic audience of the Star Wars saga, since the complete game contains 6,785 pieces and its price reaches $ 799 dollars.
Anyway, those who can buy this model will appreciate it, since the replica perfectly recreates the popular scene of Episode V. In fact, the toy has barrels that move and the side panels are folding.
It also has a small door at the bottom so Luke Skywalker can enter to destroy the tank. The head of the machine, meanwhile, is fully articulated.
The interior has also been elaborated in detail, imitating the cockpit of the pilots to the positions of the stormtroopers. The model includes nine minifigures: four snowtroopers, a snowtrooper commander, two pilots, Luke Skywalker and General Veers.
This impressive replica will go on sale on November 26 at the website from Lego.
