Leroy Merlin, the well-known DIY and home chain, has launched a statement warning of a defect in your Naterial Icarus Beta barbecue that could start fires. According to the company’s own website, it was sold both in physical stores and at AKI Bricolaje. “Customers who have purchased this product must stop using it,” they warn in their statement.
It also highlights that, by providing the purchase receipt, it is delivered “to any Leroy Merlin store to proceed with its return or replacement with an equivalent model.” The defect, according to Leroy Merlin, means that when the barbecue “works with a full charge of charcoal”, it reaches temperatures well above the established maximum. “There may be a risk of burns / injuries and fire”, they conclude in the note.
As reported by Leroy Merlin, the barbecues affected by this error have the LM number 81965923 as the reference number and the barcode is 3276000413639.
