Lloyds and Halifax to close 44 branches by November – see the full list and where you can bank instead

You can still bank online or use Post Office services if your branch is closing

Lloyds Banking Group says affected customers will still have a choice in how they bank, with options including telephone banking, online and mobile banking and its mortgage video appointment services.

If you’re new to online banking or unsure how to use it, both Lloyds and Halifax offer step by step guides on how to register and log on, plus information on how to make payments, review transactions and more. For further help, you can contact Lloyds on 0345 606 6529 and Halifax on 0345 602 0000.

In addition, Lloyds Bank and Halifax customers can deposit and withdraw money from any of the Post Office’s 11,500 branches. These Post Office branches also enable customers to check their balance and to pay cheques into their account. Use the Post Office’s branch finder tool to locate your nearest.
