Lucasfilm shares a new preview of Star Wars: Visions | Digital Trends Spanish

There is little left before Star Wars fans can enjoy a new project linked to the successful science fiction franchise.

This is Star Wars: Visions, the long-awaited anime anthology that should arrive on September 22 on Disney Plus.

This work will be made up of nine animated short films, which have been made by different Japanese creators and studios, including Studio Trigger, Studio Colorfully, Geno Studio and Production IG

Among the directors are renowned talents such as Hiroyuki Imaishi (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) and Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex).


Now, Lucasfilm has just released a new preview of this project. This is an impressive trailer that allows us to know what else can be seen in the animated series.

At the moment it is known that the shorts of Star Wars: Visions they are set in different times; thus, one of them occurs before the events narrated in The Phantom Menace, while another is located after The Rise of Skywalker.

In addition, the creators were given full freedom by the studio to develop their own timelines, so the stories are not tied to the timeline that is “officially” handled, which may be more attractive to viewers. .
