Message from Japan. The Brazilian president, Lula da Silva, wanted to come out in defense of Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr, a constant victim of racist insults.
“I would like to start with a gesture of solidarity with a Brazilian player, that boy who is possibly becoming one of the best players in the world, without a doubt the best at Real Madrid”, Lula began his appearance before the press at the end of the G7 summit in Hiroshima this Sunday.
“He is the best”, Lula stated: “They insult him in all the stadiums he goes to. I think it is important that FIFA, the Spanish League, the leagues of other countries take action, because we cannot allow fascism and racism to settle inside soccer stadiums.
“He was called ‘monkey’”, Lula continued: “It is not possible, in the 21st century, to have such a strong racial prejudice in so many football stadiums. It is unfair that a poor boy who has done so well in life is insulted in every stadium in which he plays ”.
The Madrid forward has harshly criticized LaLiga this Sunday for racism in the competition after the incidents with fans in the match against Valencia. “It is not the first time, nor the second, nor the third. Racism is normal in LaLiga. The competition believes that it is normal, the Federation also and the opponents encourage it”, the footballer wrote on Twitter: “A beautiful country, which welcomed me and which I love, but which has agreed to export the image of a racist country to the rest of the world . Today in Brazil Spain is known as a country of racists”.
The match against Valencia had to be interrupted due to a racist incident. When the Real Madrid player went to take out the baseline, he heard a racist insult, to which he refused to continue playing and pointed out to the fan that he had insulted him in order to notify the referee, De Burgos Bengoetxea. From the public address system of the stadium it was indicated that “racist insults were not going to be tolerated.”
The president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, answered the footballer: “Since those who should do not explain to you what LaLiga is and what it can do in cases of racism, we have tried to explain it to you, but you have not shown up for either of the two dates agreed that you requested yourself. Before criticizing and insulting LaLiga, it is necessary that you inform yourself properly. Don’t let yourself be manipulated and make sure you fully understand each other’s competencies and the work we have been doing together”.
Once again, instead of criticizing racists, the president of LaLiga appears on social networks to attack me.
As much as you fale and pretend not to read, the image of your championship is shot. See the answers to these posts and have a surprise…
