The Russian luxury cell phone firm Caviar has a new member of its Visionaries collection, which pays tribute to highly influential figures in the technology sector, such as Steve Jobs or the founder of Alibaba, Jack Ma. The personality joining the Visionaries collection is none other than Elon Musk, the founder and CEO of companies like Tesla and SpaceX.
Caviar pays tribute to Musk with an iPhone 13 Pro Max that costs $ 6,760, almost six times the price of the most affordable model sold by Apple. The reason? The phone’s chassis is made from the cast parts of a Tesla car.
Of course, in addition to the reused aluminum from the Tesla car, the Musk Edition iPhone 13 Pro Max (whose official name is “Tesla Electro”), part of the case is made of titanium and a small copper plate that highlights the Caviar brand. If you look closely, you see that the back cover is engraved with Musk’s face. Only 99 pieces will be made. We doubt that one of them ends up in the hands of Elon Musk.
But the eccentricity of Caviar doesn’t end there. If any Tesla executive wants to give a gift that is hard to forget (it’s up to you to decide if it’s for good or bad taste), Caviar offers a bust of Elon Musk, also made from the cast aluminum of a Tesla hood and doors. The base, by the way, is marble. The bust is priced at $ 3,220 and only 27 replicas will be made of this piece. It would definitely make a good paperweight.
