Meta Announces New Facebook Feed Personalization | Digital Trends Spanish

This Wednesday, October 5, Meta announced that Facebook will allow capital customization about the feedallowing what to see first and more: for example, more posts from friends or groups, or more from news.

“Today we’re announcing new ways to personalize what you see in your Facebook Feed so you can discover what’s most relevant to you. You can now select “Show more” or “Show less” on posts from people and communities you’re connected with, on posts that Facebook recommends to you. Selecting “Show More” will increase the ranking score of a post and similar posts. If you select “Show less”, it will decrease your ranking. By offering more ways to incorporate direct comments into post rankings, we are making our AI systems smarter and more responsive,” they commented on Meta.

You’ll also be able to choose to “Show More” or “Show Less” on posts from people and communities you’re connected with by tapping the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the post. The test will start on the reels.

“We’re continuing to explore ways to help you personalize the amount of content you see in Feed from the friends and family, Groups, Pages, and public figures you’re connecting with. These functions, as well as the “Snooze”, “Unfollow” and “Reconnect” functions, are located in the Feed Preferences,” they commented..
