Meta’s Horizon Worlds arrives in Spain and France | Digital Trends Spanish

Mark Zuckerberg’s animation in Horizon Worlds at the Eiffel Tower, welcomed the Meta metaverse app for France and Spain.

Meta launched Horizon Worlds for all users over the age of 18 in the United States and Canada last year and put it available to users in the UK in June. In April, he also said that he is working on a web version to allow people to experience virtual worlds without having a VR headset.

In recent months, the company has also added security features like controls for voice chat and 4 foot personal limits around the avatars on the Horizon Worlds platform.

“Obviously, this is a very expensive undertaking in the next few years. But as the metaverse becomes more important to every part of how we live, from our social platforms, to entertainment, to work and education, to commerce, I’m sure we’ll be glad we played a big part in building of this,” Zuckerberg said during the quarterly earnings call for the second quarter of 2022.
