Mexican businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliego recommended his followers not to sell their bitcoins to large buyers, such as banks or investment houses.
In a message posted on Twitter, Salinas Pliego – one of the richest businessmen in Mexico – suggested that the value of this cryptocurrency will rise soon, for which he invited the so-called “whales” not to sell the asset.
You have to buy #bitcoin (keep buying when the price is low), then just hold your #btcforget about selling… trust me you’re going to thank me later 😌😎 https://t.co/wpqpfc8N15

“You have to buy bitcoin (do it when the price is low), then keep your #btc and forget about selling, believe me, you will thank me later,” said the businessman in a tweet.
Salinas Pliego thus responded to a post on the same platform made by Bitcoin Magazine, a publication specialized in cryptocurrency.
As of press time for this note, bitcoin is trading at around $37,700 dollars per unit. The digital currency shows an upward trend after it had a fall on February 15, 2022 after reaching a maximum near $44,500 dollars.
Ricardo Salinas Pliego is the owner of the media conglomerate TV Azteca, the second largest television station in the Mexican territory. He also owns companies engaged in the banking, sales and automotive sectors.
In the same way, the businessman is known on social networks for his rudeness towards other users, which at the beginning of 2022 earned him a temporary suspension on Twitter. This occurred after Salinas Pliego derogatorily requested “a meme contest” against a famous Mexican political scientist named Denise Dresser, who has criticized Salinas Pliego’s way of doing business.
