Mexican same-store retail sales up 4.5% y/y in August -ANTAD

MEXICO CITY — Mexico’s same-store retail sales rose by 4.5% in August compared to the same month last year, Mexican retailers’ association ANTAD said on Monday, as economic activity recovers from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last month, ANTAD reported that same-store retail sales rose by 15.3% in July compared to the same month last year. (Reporting by Ana Isabel Martinez Editing by Chris Reese)
