Taking advantage of the launch of Windows 11 on October 5, Microsoft will also put on sale the new version of its office software, Office 2021.
This Friday, October 1, the technology company announced the values that the program will have as well as some of its main novelties.
According to what is shared by the site The Verge, Office Home and Student 2021 will be priced at $ 149.99 and will include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Microsoft Teams for PC and Mac.
For its part, Office Home and Business 2021 will be priced at $ 249.99 and will include everything in the Home and Outlook version for PC and Mac, along with the rights to use all Office applications for business purposes.
Office 2021 will include the collaboration features found in Microsoft 365 versions of Office, with real-time co-authoring, OneDrive support, and even Microsoft Teams integration.
Office 2021 will also include the new Office design, with a revamped ribbon interface, rounded corners, and a neutral color palette that matches the changes to the Windows 11 user interface.
Finally, the company also incorporates some Microsoft 365 features into Office 2021, including modern Excel functions, PowerPoint improvements and Outlook translation support, among other novelties.
The technology company has also explained that to use Microsoft 365 and Office 2021 you will need an internet connection. Also, both will be able to work in Windows 11, Windows 10 and in the last three versions of macOS.
