Mides delivers laptops to students in regions

The Ministry of Social Development (Mides) delivered laptops to students in the comarcas Embera Wounaan and Guna Yala studying forestry engineering at the University of Forest Sciences (UNACIFOR) of Honduras.

The equipment was delivered by the Minister of Mides, Maria Ines Castillo and the Minister of the Environment, Miltiades Concepcion, as part of a strategic alliance that seeks to provide technological tools to students from indigenous peoples and contribute to the correct environmental management of the country.

The minister indicated that the National government is committed to promoting education in all populations, mainly in those excluded regions.
