Minsa calls on the population to maintain biosecurity measures during national holidays

The Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, called on the population to take care of themselves and maintain biosecurity measures before the arrival of national days.

“It is gradually returning to normality, therefore, in these festivities we ask the population to be prudent and to maintain biosecurity measures”, recommended the minister.

Meanwhile, the vaccination report provided by the Expanded Program on Immunization (PAI) reveals that to date a total of 5,817,921 doses have been applied in the country of vaccines against Covid-19 from the houses Pfizer and AstraZeneca. 3,040,072 have been applied in the first dose; 2,673,213 in second dose; 99,382 booster doses and 5,254 in third doses.

Coverage with first dose reaches 88.0% of the target population and 77.4% of that population with a second dose.

This vaccination continues this Saturday, October 30 and Sunday, October 31 at the fixed posts located in Los Andes Mall, Plaza Súper 99 in Villa Lucre from 9am to 5pm and at Metro Mall until this Saturday, October 30 from 9am to 3pm

Epidemiological Report

In the world there are 245,733,785 confirmed cases of Covid-19 with 4,984,613 deaths for a fatality of 2%.
