Minsa reiterates the call to be vaccinated due to the increase in Covid-19 cases, since 90% of the deceased were vaccinated

The Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, reiterated the call to the population to go to vaccination centers to receive your doses against Covid-19 due to the increase in cases and the appearance of new variants, pointing out that 90% of the people who died from this disease did not have the complete vaccination scheme.

Sucre added that strategies for the application of booster doses have been strengthened, so that more people can receive it, at the same time he expressed the importance of getting the first 2 vaccines against Covid-19 to reduce infections.

He also reiterated that the Minsa redoubled epidemiological surveillance, genomics and traceability in areas where there has been an increase in Covid-19 cases.
