Minsa reports 17 new deaths registered in the last 24 hours; lethality is 1.1%

For this Sunday, February 6, 2022, the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) stressed that in the world 311,214,635 people have recovered and 5,754,420 people have lost their lives due to the virus.

In Panama, 727,413 confirmed accumulated cases of Covid-19 and 2,345 new positive cases are registered this Sunday.

According to this afternoon’s court, 17 new deaths registered in the last 24 hours are reported, 3 of previous dates for a cumulative to date of 7,844 deaths and a lethality of 1.1%.

The number of recoveries amounted to 678,478, with a total of 7,257 new recoveries and in the last 24 hours, 11,078 tests were applied for a positivity of 21.1%.

Meanwhile, the active cases total 41,091, while in home isolation 40,418, divided into 40,256 at home and 162 in hotels.

Those hospitalized add up to 673, in the room there are 592 people and 81 in the ICU.
