MOP resumes recovery work on Ricardo J. Alfaro avenue

The Minister of Public Works, Rafael Sabonge, announced this Tuesday that the rehabilitation works of the Ricardo J. Alfaro (popularly known as ‘Tumba Muerto’) are restarted today, after enormous efforts to reactivate this work that represents an important improvement to the road network of the capital of the country.

The head of the portfolio made this announcement after making an evaluation to the local press of the road maintenance days (day and night) carried out by the MOP in 175 work fronts nationwide and of the public events carried out so far. of this month of October to award new projects in the order of $ 95 million.

Among these projects are: The rehabilitation and financing of the highway Panamericana-Las Tablas-Monagre Beach-Rompío Beach and Santa Ana Branch-La Villa de Los Santos; study, design, construction and financing of the vehicular bridge over the Bayano river and the design, construction and financing of the highway Paso Canoas-Río Sereno-Piedra Candela on the border cordon with Costa Rica.

Also on the bidding agenda for this month of October is the study, design, construction and financing project of the highway The Llano-Puerto Cartí.
