More than 20 earthquakes were located at dawn this Sunday on La Palma, with a maximum magnitude of 3.8


The National Geographic Institute (IGN) has located at dawn this Sunday 21 seismic movements on the Canary Island of La Palma, with a maximum magnitude of 3.8 in an earthquake that occurred 34 kilometers deep at 02.57 hours (Canary time) in the municipality of Mazo.

Of the 21 earthquakes located until 07.39 hours this Sunday, 18 have occurred in the municipality of Fuencaliente, two in El Paso and one in Mazo.

The last of the seismic movements located so far this Sunday occurred at 07.39 hours in the municipality of El Paso, at a depth of 42 kilometers and of magnitude 3.3.
