Motorola Razr: Lenovo prepares a new generation | Digital Trends Spanish

The Motorola Razr arrived at the end of 2020 as a strong bet in the folding phone segment. With its clamshell format, Lenovo’s phone became one of the best options on the market against rivals like the Samgung Galaxy Z Flip, but its price was not suitable for all pockets.

Now the head of Lenovo’s mobile division in China, Chen Jin, has revealed through his Weibo profile that the company is already working on the development of a new Motorola Razr.

According to Chen Jin, the phone will have improved power, a different interface than the previous model, and a better appearance. The phone could arrive first in China, but it is not ruled out that it will arrive in the United States and other territories as it happened with the previous models.

At the moment there is no more information about this possible device, but it is expected that it will arrive at a lower price than previous models to be able to compete with folding phones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 ($ 1,100).

This won’t be the only clamshell flip phone to arrive next year. Huawei presented a few days ago its new Huawei P50 Pocket, a phone with a round secondary screen and a 6.9-inch AMOLED main screen with Full HD + resolution, a 21: 9 ratio and a 120 Hz refresh rate. This phone will go on sale for 8,988 yen (about $ 1,400 dollars to change) in China and at the moment it is unknown when it will reach other territories such as Europe or Latin America.
