Robeco has announced the appointment of Natalie Falkman as Head Portfolio Manager of the strategy RobecoSAM Circular Economy Equities. Natalie Falkman, who will be based in Zurich, joins Robeco from Swedbank Robur, where she was Head Portfolio Manager of equity strategy Kapitalinvest, a global fund with high sustainability criteria and a Morningstar five-star rating.
Previously, Falkman had held various positions at Carnegie Investment Bank in Stockholm, including equity analyst specializing in capital goods, institutional equity sales and sales analysis for the Scandinavian countries, and head of equity research emerging markets variable, focused on Russia, CIS and Africa. He graduated from the Stockholm School of Economics, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business.

The RobecoSAM Circular Economy Equities strategy has an active management that invests in leading companies at the forefront of the opportunities arising from the paradigm shift in traditional patterns of production and consumption, in favor of a circular economy.
Specifically, the strategy focuses on solution providers in the fields of input redesign, circular use, enabling technologies and loop resources. This diversified strategy is enhanced with a own ESG risk analysis, and is aimed at investors with an investment horizon of three to five years.
