Nestlé donates one million servings to the Food Bank of Panama

As part of its philosophy of Creating Shared Value and in line with its purpose of developing all the power of food to improve the quality of life, today and for future generations, Nestlé, founding donor of Food Bank since 2015, has made donations representing un million servings of food.

“We are very satisfied to be able to contribute to the nutrition of thousands of Panamanian families, which benefit from the support and solidarity of the Food Bank of Panama. For six consecutive years, Nestlé has supported the Food Bank of Panama to nurture more families every day, reaffirming our commitment to develop actions that positively impact the community, manifested Alejandro Pereira, general manager of Nestlé Panama.

“With this latest delivery in 2021, we total one million servings of the highest quality and nutritious food that are delivered to vulnerable communities in the country. Nestlé products have been reaching Panamanian tables for more than 80 years to contribute to family development and nutrition, especially children ”, concluded the manager of Nestlé Panama.

Nestlé’s contributions to the Food Bank of Panama consist of foods like Maggi tomato pastes and sauces, Coffee Mate, Klim whole milk powder, Ideal evaporated milk, Nestlé Breakfast Cereals, among others.

Aware of current social challenges, Nestle It will continue joining efforts to respond to the nutritional needs not only of its consumers, but also of the most disadvantaged sectors in order to meet the Sustainable Development Goals acquired by the company.
