Netflix shows the first preview of Bridgerton’s return | Digital Trends Spanish


Bridgerton has become one of the most successful series on Netflix. Now, on Valentine’s Day, the platform released the first preview of the second season of the series, which should return on March 25.

It did so through a special event that included the participation of Julia Quinn, author of the novels that inspired the series and part of the cast of the second season.

On the day, the first teaser of Bridgerton’s return was shown, in addition to the official poster of the series and unpublished images of the production.

Synopsis

According to an official statement from Netflix, the second season of Bridgerton follows Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), the oldest of the Bridgerton brothers and a viscount, as he sets out to find a suitable wife.

“Driven by his duty to uphold the family name, Anthony’s search for a debutante who meets his impossible standards seems fruitless until Kate (Simone Ashley) and her younger sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran) Sharma arrive from India.” .

The series also stars Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Lorraine Ashbourne (Mrs. Varley), Harriet Cains (Philipa Featherington), Bessie Carter (Prudence Featherington), Shelley Conn (Mary Sharma), Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington), Phoebe Dynevor (Daphne Basset), Ruth Gemmell (Violet Bridgerton), and Florence Hunt (Hyacinth Bridgerton).

For his part, Chris Van Dusen is the creator of the series, while Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers are in charge of executive production, in addition to Van Dusen himself.
