New Morbius trailer shows Jared Leto as a vampire | Digital Trends Spanish

Marvel movies produced by Sony Pictures will have a new installment next January, called Morbius and of which a new trailer has been released that shows Jared Leto’s transformation into a vampire.

The film will tell the story of Michael Morbius, a doctor who, in search of a cure for his strange blood disease, turns into a creature with special powers, almost like a cross between a vampire and a wolf-like creature, even with some bat-like abilities.

The trailer makes it clear that Morbius will be a kind of hero and villain at the same time; On the one hand, his work as a doctor means that he is in the world to save lives. But at the same time, he wonders what he may be able to do when his dark side emerges, which everything indicates will become more and more present with the passage of time.

Another detail that can be seen in the video is that there may be a kind of crossover with other Sony Pictures tapes, particularly with Venom and Spider-Man: No Way Home, which are part of this subuniverse Marvel on the big screen.

In the trailer, you can see the Oscorp building, a poster of the spider-man on the wall and also a small cameo by Michael Keaton, who in addition to having been Batman in the past, played the villain Vulture on Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Morbius It will be released in theaters on January 28 and in addition to Jared Leto, it will feature performances by Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal and Tyrese Gibson. Its director will be Daniel Espinosa and is written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.
