Official Trailer 2022
Less than two months after its arrival in theaters, Paramount Pictures released a new and perhaps last trailer for Top Gun: Maverick. The Hollywood-based producer and distributor promised a “guaranteed adrenaline rush” with the film, which was announced for release on May 27, 2022.
The synopsis ends by revealing the key characters in the plot, which revolves around Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. After the veteran Navy aviator agrees to train a detachment of young graduates, he meets Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of his late friend Nick “Goose” Bradshaw (Val Kilmer).
Ghosts from the past and deepest fears surface at this stage in Maverick’s life in the trailer, which runs for two and a half minutes.
new synopsis
On December 16, 2019, Paramount released a new synopsis for the sequel to top gun. In the last piece, the action takes place more in the cockpit, with Tom Cruise’s character performing some risky flight maneuvers, while a voiceover explains to the students in the training program (and reminds the audience) that this He is one of the best pilots in the history of the flight academy.
Pete “Maverick” Mitchell is back in Top Gun as an instructor, and he appears to be a tremendously demanding teacher, inviting students to practice an exercise called “dogfighting,” which alludes to close-quarters dogfighting. . Unsurprisingly, the recruits are amazed at his skills, as the uniformed veteran pretty quickly demonstrates why he’s so highly regarded.
Revealed four months later than the first sneak peek, the trailer also pays homage to many of the classic scenes from the first film: riders singing in a bar, occasional fights, Maverick on his speeding motorcycle with a new love partner (Jennifer Connelly) and even some beach sports. This time, unlike the eighties film, it seems that American football, and not volleyball, is the favorite activity of the academy students.

On May 31, 2018, Cruise posted a photo on Twitter of the first day of production of the sequel to top gun. The photo shows him back in the Maverick flight suit, with the overlaid “Feel the Need” tagline giving nostalgic fans exactly what they’re looking for.
The cast
The film brings back the original star of top gunTom Cruise as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, the pilot character who helped make Cruise a superstar. Also joining will be Val Kilmer, who reprises his role as Maverick’s rivalTom “Iceman” Kazansky.
As for the actor who occupies one of the main roles in the film, the actor from whiplash Miles Teller, will play the son of Maverick’s former partner Goose, who was played by Anthony Edwards in the first film. Teller was seen on set with Cruise in a Photographs December 2018, which revealed the mustache that he will sport in the film.
