So are the new Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro
The Xiaomi 12 is the most restrained phone of the new couple, as it comes with a 6.28-inch AMOLED screen manufactured by Samsung, which offers FHD + resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. In the case of the Xiaomi 12 Pro, the panel It is 6.73 inches with 2K resolution and variable refresh rates of 1-120 Hz depending on the task you are running.
In both models the fingerprint sensor is located below the screen. In addition, the panels are supported by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus technology to give it more protection, something we saw with the Xiaomi 11T Pro.
As we mentioned, both models incorporate the most recent Qualcomm chipset (they are the first on the market to do so), the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (SM8450), along with versions of 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage. .
In terms of autonomy, the regular Xiaomi 12 has a 4,500 mAh battery with 67 W fast wired charging, 50 W wireless charging and 10 W reverse wireless charging. In the case of the Pro model, the battery is 4,600 mAh. with two cells and has a fast charging system of 120 W by cable and up to 50 W of wireless supply.
The cameras are triple in the two models. In the Xiaomi 12 we have the 50 MP Sony IMX 766 sensor along with a 13 MP wide angle and a 5 MP tele-macro camera. The Pro model incorporates three 50 MP cameras, the first with a Sony IMX707 sensor, the second with a portrait mode lens and the third a super wide angle.
Price and availability
At the moment only the data related to price and availability in China are known. In the Asian country, the Xiaomi 12 Pro will have a price of about $ 735 dollars for the most basic version, while the regular model will start at about $ 578 dollars.
