Nope’s Final Trailer Sheds Light on Jordan Peele’s Movie | Digital Trends Spanish

Since it became a horror sensation after the release of get-outwriter-director Jordan Peele has apparently embraced the idea that his movies work best when audiences don’t know what to expect. nope, the tradition continues. Previous trailers have hinted that this horror story would venture into the realm of science fiction and aliens. But the final trailer of nope finally offers some insights into how its main characters find themselves in a sci-fi nightmare.

Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer are co-heads of nope poster as siblings OJ and Emerald Haywood, ranch owners who are inexplicably haunted by an unidentified flying object. Realizing that they could potentially cash in on this phenomenon, the Haywoods try to get proof. Unfortunately, this seems to have angered the UFO. And the Haywoods will suddenly find themselves on the road over their heads as things start to escalate.

The official Universal Pictures description of Nope is maddeningly vague, but in accordance with Peele’s wishes for secrecy:

“The film reunites Peele with Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out, Judas and the Black Messiah), who is joined by Keke Palmer (Hustlers, Alice) and Oscar nominee Steven Yeun (Minari, Okja) as residents of a lonely inland California ravine bearing witness to a strange and chilling discovery.

Yeun stars as Ricky “Jupe” Park, while the rest of the cast includes Keith David as Otis “Pops” Haywood Sr., Brandon Perea as Angel Torres, Michael Wincott as Antlers Holst, Wrenn Schmidt as Amber Park, Barbie Ferreira as Danielle , Donna Mills as Bonnie Clayton, Jennifer Lafleur as Phyllis Mayberry/Margaret Houston, and Andrew Patrick Ralston as Tom Rogan/Brett Houston.

nope It will hit theaters on Friday, July 22.
