Obrador resumes its raffles: now includes drug houses

Coinciding with the celebration of ‘El Grito’ de la Independencia –launched in 1810 by the religious Miguel Hidalgo to call for the uprising against the authorities of the viceroyalty of New Spain–, on September 15 the Great Special Draw will be held in Mexico. Two hundred years after that historic episode, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), president until the end of his six-year term in 2024, will announce the distribution of the awards.
