Panama will teach young people business culture in schools

The Minister of Education, Maruja Gorday de Villalobos, announced that from the date the students of the educational system of the Republic of Panama They will receive training in business culture.

Gorday de Villalobos He said that this is a debt that we had as a country and that this must permeate each context, each territory, each educational region to help continue generating a series of projects with students in schools that have the capacity to generate activities that can be self-sustaining and that leads them to generate income for themselves.

The teaching of business culture will not be included as a subject because the Ministry of Education (Meduca) currently registers more than 800 subjects, however, the training program in this area will be developed through an alliance with the private company that will include programs at all academic levels on a mandatory basis, with the intention of contributing to the strengthening of education in Panama.

Julius Cesar Vidal of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (Cciap), said that the project in which the Meduca It is beneficial to the system.

He mentioned that, if entrepreneurship is stimulated from early on, the future will be promising with respect to the fact that there will be more entrepreneurs in Panama, more opportunities for people to have their own business initiative and also give others the opportunity to work with them.

The start-up occurs after the National Assembly approved in the three debates the business education law.
