Nintendo announced that the classic Nintendo 64 RPG, Paper mario, will join the catalog of games of the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack from next December 10.
Paper mario debuted on the Nintendo 64 on August 11, 2000 in Japan under the name of Mario Story; months later, the game was adapted into English with the title of Paper mario on February 5, 2001. The game, considered a successor to Mario RPG, was commercially successful and gave rise to a series that to date has six games, distributed on consoles such as the Nintendo 64 and the Nintendo Switch.
The game will be added to the catalog of Nintendo 64 titles playable on Switch, which also includes games such as Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64, Star Fox 64, Yoshi’s Story, Dr. Mario 64, Sin & Punishment, Mario Tennis and Operation Wingback.
In the coming months, Nintendo will add other Nintendo 64 classics, such as The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask and F-Zero X.
