Partial closure in Loma Cová this Wednesday due to blasting work


The Ministry of Public Works (MOP) reported that this Wednesday, December 29, there will be a partial closure of the Pan-American highway, at the height of Loma Cová, district of Arraiján.

Through a statement, the MOP indicated that this closure is due to the blasting works that will be carried out in the area as part of the construction of the project “Study, Design, Construction and Maintenance of Works for the Expansion and Rehabilitation of the Pan-American Highway, Section : Puente de Las Américas-Arraiján, according to the MOP in a statement.

The partial closure of traffic will take place in both directions of the Pan-American highway for a period of 20 minutes between 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm

Faced with this situation, the entity advised users to use alternate roads such as the Centenario highway and the road to Paraíso.
