“Patterson’s Cut”: Obi-Wan Kenobi’s version made into a movie | Digital Trends Spanish

Initially it was considered that the Obi-Wan Kenobi series It was a movie, but Disney Plus decided to take out all six episodes that premiered in May. However, a fan named Kai Patterson decided to fix things and also do an “artistic rendition of how the scenes could come together to make things work better.”

For this reason, taking out dialogues and scenes, he left a two and a half hour cut that can be seen if you are a Disney Plus subscriber and that can be seen here.

“The Obi-Wan show, in my opinion, suffered from things that were easily fixable in the script and in the editing…awkward pacing, entire scenes that ultimately amounted to nothing, silly dialogue and directing choices, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and change what I could. I want to be very clear, this is my own artistic interpretation of how these scenes could be chained together to make something that works best for me personally,” says Patterson.

The author of this cut maintains that he did not put subtitles on it, which makes him very sad and that it is not in a 4K version.

“I don’t own any of the material as this is just a fan edit. DO NOT watch or download this movie if you have not paid for a Disney Plus subscription. Let’s make sure we support all the original artists on this show by not letting this become a means of piracy. Owning a Disney Plus subscription will give you access to all 6 episodes of the Obi-Wan Kenobi show that have been repurposed for this fan edition,” he said as a final recommendation.
