At 83 years of age and of natural causes, the death of actor Paul Sorvino, known for his roles in Martin Scorsese’s film, was reported. Good boys and of Law and order.
His death was announced by his publicist Roger Neal on behalf of Sorvino’s wife, Dee Dee Sorvino, who was by his side when he passed away.
The actor was also the father of popular actress Mira Sorvino.
“Our hearts are broken,” Dee Dee Sorvino said in a statement. “There will never be another Paul Sorvino, he was the love of my life and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage.”
Paul Anthony Sorvino was born on April 13, 1939 in Brooklyn and starred in films such as Goodfellas, Nixon, Dick Tracy, The Rocketeer, For the Love of Money, That Championship Season, Reds, A Touch of Class Y Oh gosh! among many others. On television she starred in seasons 2 and 3 of Law & Order and on Broadway at That Championship Season.
