Satellite images have captured the large deployment of Russian army forces advancing overland towards Kiev.
The images published by the US company Maxar Technologies Inc (MAXR.N) and distributed by agencies such as EFE or Reuters show an impressive convoy made up of hundreds of military vehicles and that extended over more than 5 kilometers.
According to the images collected by the company, the armored convoy was about 60 kilometers north of the Ukrainian capital and included tanks, artillery and armored vehicles.
According to the Ukrainian authorities, regular Russian troops have been unable to enter or settle in any major city in the country, be it Kiev, Kharkiv, Odessa (Black Sea) or Mariupol (Sea of Azov) in four days of offensive on all fronts.
