PHOTOS | The haze fills the skies with orange and covers the streets with dust

The arrival of a tongue of suspended dust from the Sahara desert, driven by the winds of the Celia storm, has left images of orange skies and cars on the streets and street furniture full of dust.

The haze raised air quality in large areas of the country to the category of “extremely unfavourable”, due to the high concentration levels of PM10 particles, seriously affecting health.
