Photoshop and Premiere are here for casual users | Digital Trends Spanish

Adobe presents the new versions of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements, photo and video editing programs, respectively, aimed at the most casual users and which have simplified functions compared to the originals.

The 2022 versions arrive with several additions to simplify the editing work. In the case of Photoshop Elements, new filters are integrated for images with the styles of world-renowned artists and painters such as Van Gogh or Da Vinci.

New functions were also added to its Guided Edits mode, which now have specific parameters for certain types of photos, such as removing collars in pet images or adjusting their brightness or colors. It is even possible to add small motion effects to still images and then export them as video files.

As for Premiere Elements, there is an artificial intelligence system called Sensei AI that will allow you to adjust the framing and proportion of the videos. The latter is specifically designed for social networks, such as the popular Instagram or TikTok, which have different formats. With Sensei AI the videos will adapt automatically, but will keep the important parts of the content.

There are also new video compression options in Premiere Elements, with simpler and more intuitive controls than those found in the professional version of the same editing software.

Both Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements are available from the Adobe official site. Each one is priced at $ 99, but both can be purchased in a package for $ 150, plus there are some discounts for teachers or students.
