Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency, a digital currency that nobody regulates and that you can buy and sell, and use, over the Internet. It is an almost personal bet of its president, Nayib Bukele, 40, who wants to attract international investment and give a blow to his image.
To discuss this matter, today we have Glenda Girón, investigative editor of the Salvadoran newspaper La Prensa Gráfica with us.
