Police arrest suspect of participating in the “Bitcoin Pharaoh” “extermination group”

The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro acted quickly to arrest another suspect linked to the “Pharaó dos Bitcoins” extermination group. The company GAS Consultoria Bitcoin has worked in the city of Cabo Frio in recent years, having as main leaders Glaidson Acácio dos Santos and Mirelis Zerpa, his wife.

Glaidson ended up becoming known as the “Pharaoh of Bitcoins” among clients, as he promised monthly returns of 10% on supposed exchanges of this currency in the market by brokers.

However, investigations by the Federal Police and the Public Ministry revealed that this promise was nothing more than a facade for the financial pyramid scheme of this company and its leaders, who lived a life of luxury.

It is worth noting that the success of GAS Consultoria in the Cabo Frio market, despite not being publicized on social networks, attracted financial pyramid competitors to the region. At one point, Glaidson would have started to revolt with the competition that promised more income than him, and ended up taking his customers.

One of them was Nilsinho, the owner of a company that, in addition to promising more than the pharaoh, recruited his clients. In 2021, he was the target of an assassination attempt in Cabo Frio, and the civil police soon began investigations.

In December 2021, the “Pharaoh of Bitcoins” was indicted for the attempted murder of his competitor and investigations advanced today.

PC of Rio de Janeiro arrests suspect of the “Pharaoh of Bitcoins” extermination group

To eliminate competition in the Lakes Region, Glaidson reportedly hired several hit men to carry out raids against competitors. In a report by the MPF, the official points out that his work was similar to that of a militiaman.

In this criminal structure, there were those who coordinated the killings and those who actually committed the crimes against the targets. And one of the suspects in planning, hiring and guiding the assassins was Rodrigo Silva Moreira, who was targeting Nilson Alves da Silva. The suspect was living in Paraty, a coastal city in Rio de Janeiro in a region full of inns.

In an exchange of information between the civil police and DEAM in Angra dos Reis, agents identified his presence in the city and carried out an arrest warrant against him this Tuesday morning (18).

The greeting was coordinated by the Chief Police Officer Camila Meirelles Pegorim, after information obtained by the intelligence sector.

The arrest warrant was issued by the 2nd Criminal Court of Cabo Frio and was carried out without collateral damage by the police, as the man did not offer any resistance to the arrest warrant against him.

“The crime in question involved the supremacy of companies that exploited alleged investments in BITCOINS with payment of unrealistic interest and had great repercussion in the media.”

According to PC from Rio de Janeiro, he could be a key piece to identify more elements about the “Pharaoh of Bitcoins” extermination group.
