Samsung Galaxy S9 runs out of software support | Digital Trends Spanish

Without software updates, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus models have remained. This follows from the latest version of the list on the Korean manufacturer’s support page, which is renewed every quarter.

The brand’s flagship phone in 2018 celebrates this season the four years that the Suwon-based company established as a limit to provide new versions of the program, reported the site’s article droidlife.

The same fate had recently befallen varieties such as Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S7. One of the next smartphone models to suffer from it will be the Samsung Galaxy S10, which entered its last season of updates.

“The phone (Samsung Galaxy S10) should continue to receive updates until more or less these dates (first quarter) of next year (2023), before it is also abandoned,” he added. 9to5Google.

The only consolation for customers and fans of Samsung and the Android operating system is that the leading global manufacturer has extended software support for its latest models to five years.
