Sánchez: “It is fair to open a debate on the need for many of the public institutions to leave the capital of Spain”

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, announced at a rally held this Sunday in Ponferrada that “It is fair to open a debate on the need for many of the public institutions to leave the capital of Spain.”

The socialist leader reproaches that “some have been upset” when the Government has defended decentralizing some entities, but has defended its need to unite the country.

Sánchez has given as examples of decentralization the management of fines in León, the Social Security computer headquarters in Soria or taking the army to emptied Spain, announcing an investment of 20 million euros to rehabilitate the military camp of Monte La Reina (Toro, Zamora) closed since 1997.

Sánchez has gone to Bierzo to a party pact in which the secretary general of the PSOE of Castilla y León, Luis Tudanca, has also participated amidst the tension due to a possible electoral advance in the Community.
