She is Peyton: the replacement for Mrs. Krabappel in The Simpsons | Digital Trends Spanish

the primary of Springfield will have a very important change from now and possibly forever, since the teacher Krabappel already has a replacement in The Simpson and her name is Peyton.

This character change will take place in the context of the death of the actress who gave the original voice to director Seymour Skinner’s girlfriend, Marcia Wallace. For this reason, according to what Entertainment Weekly collects, her role will be taken by this teacher of African-American origin.

EW sources confirm that Bart Simpson will have Miss Peyton from “My Octopus and a Teacher,” the 18th episode of season 33.

She most likely won’t appear again until season 34, but Peyton is presumed to be the teacher from now on.

Peyton will feature the voice of Kerry Washington (Scandal, American Son) in the English version of The Simpson.

“She is a great teacher,” Washington commented. “But like all the best teachers, she knows that her students have as much to teach her as she has to teach them. And teaching Bart is a job full of growth opportunities.”

Bart has never had a teacher like her.

The executive producer of The Simpsons, Carolyn Omine, also referred to this character who will debut on April 24.

“We’re not going to feel like, ‘Oh, this is a new Krabappel. Most of our teachers are exhausted, and it’s just a comedy show. But we thought, ‘Let’s do this differently, let’s make her a good teacher.’ Sometimes it’s hard to find comedy in people who are good, but then you think of people like Leslie Knope. They are too much, but they are good at their job. We wanted to have that kind of teacher.”
