Shenzhen’s trade with Belt and Road countries and regions rises 12.9% in January-October


Imports and exports from the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen with countries and regions along the Belt and Road recorded 606.1 billion yuan ($ 94.9 billion) in the first 10 months of this year, which constitutes a year-on-year increase of 12.9%.

According to Shenzhen customs, imports and exports with the countries and regions of the Strip and Route in October they exceeded 59,000 million yuan, a figure that represented an increase of 1.7% year-on-year and completed 12 consecutive months of growth.

Customs data shows that mechanical and electrical products account for more than 80% of the products exported by Shenzhen to the countries and regions of the Strip and Route, mainly electrical equipment, electronic components, LCD panels, computers and other automatic data processing equipment and components.

During the first 10 months of this year, 104 freight trainsto China-Europe departed from Shenzhen for the Belt and Road countries and regions, transporting 69,000 tons of goods valued at 2.6 billion yuan.
