Sinaproc gives notice of prevention for storms until November 27 due to Cold Front No.3

The National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) informed the population that it maintains a Warning of Prevention for rains and storms, associated with the passage of fcold rent # 3, on the Central American and Caribbean region.

Greater atmospheric instability is expected, which will generate important rainy events on the Isthmus of Panama until November 27. The areas under notice are: Panama, Panama Oeste, Coclé, Herrera, Los Santos, Veraguas, Chiriquí, Bocas del Toro, Ngäbe Buglé region, Colón, Guna Yala region, Darién, Emberá region, maritime sectors of the Caribbean and Panamanian Pacific, indicates the Hydrometeorology Management of the Electric Transmission Company SA, (ETESA).

Continuous and intermittent rainfall could generate high accumulated rains, with possible urban floods, flash floods and overflows of rivers.

Accumulated maximum rains per day are expected Probable in provinces and regions of the Panamanian Pacific from: 25 to 80 MM or liters of water per square meter, in the provinces and regions of the Caribbean of the country and mountainous regions with the possibility of higher amounts.
